Fraudulent transfers can occur where the debtor tries to make a transfer with the intent to hinder, delay or defraud creditors, or by the debtor transferring an asset for less than the reasonable value to a creditor or interested party either while the debtor was insolvent or that rendered them insolvent. Automatic stay, lien priority & Strip downs and dischargeability litigation are other forms of common bankruptcy litigation. Nicholas B. Bangos is a South Florida native. Nick graduated from Eckerd College in 1986 and obtained his J.D. degree in 1989 from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. Nick served as law clerk to the Honorable Arthur B. Briskman, United States Bankruptcy Judge from 1989-1990 and 1993-1994. Nick also served as an assistant state attorney in Pensacola, Florida from 1990-1993, where he personally conducted over 70 jury trials. Nick returned to South Florida in 2000, where he was a partner in an international law firm in Miami, Florida from 2000-2006, before forming Nicholas B. Bangos, P.A.
